And how do I recognise when it's okay to switch off? This and much more is discussed in this workshop. There is also enough time and space to deal with individual problems.

Studying (not) made easy! Studying with disabilities

-

Date: only takes place in the winter semester
Time: -

online via zoom
No registration required!

Coping with illnesses and impairments in everyday student life

According to current studies, 11% of students have an impairment that makes their studies more difficult. However, only six percent of those affected have impairments that are visible at first glance. Many young people therefore live with non-visible impairments, such as diabetes, epilepsy, an autism spectrum disorder or a mental illness.

The event provides an overview of offers and regulations for studying with disabilities and chronic illnesses at Ulm University. You will also have the opportunity to clarify individual questions on the following topics:

Study organization

  • Compensation for disadvantages in the admission procedure and examinations
  • Absences and vacation semesters etc.
  • Contact points and contact persons

“Time is short.”

Most of the tasks should have been completed yesterday and new ones are already popping up. Exercise sheets, internship report, exams, calling grandma, cleaning the bathroom, shopping, buddy's birthday...
All students are familiar with this.

Together we will work on the following topics:

Strengths and weaknesses of time management
Recognizing time thieves and learning to set priorities
Making decisions
Creating individual solutions
